March Madness picks

March Madness brackets here.  These are designed for large pools (appx 400 entries) with upset points on a 2-4-8-16-32-64 scoring system.  Upset points are defined as the difference in the seed between the two teams, plus the round scoring points.

Thus, if Georgetown loses to Gulf Coast, that’s 15 points, compared to 2 points for if Georgetown beats Gulf Coast.

Note: Most first round games were picked via expected value calculations, using predicted probabilities from kenpom.com
