Label use and health outcomes

Classic case of correlation not equaling causation, brought to you by newsday: The vibe of the article suggests that those who read labels will lose weight.  However, their methods just show an association.  

A similar study could show an association between diabetics and reading food labels…but of course that doesn’t mean that those who read food labels get diabetes.
